In 2016 we were approached by a very fortunate client who wanted to build a private spa complex for his luxury home. We were shortlisted as the architects, designers and builders of this exceptional project. In all, we managed to design, build and deliver a fully functional 500m2 private spa complex.
A private spa with all the bells and whistles
First, our clients wanted to convert an old decrepit barn into a private spa and leisure centre on their private estate. The owners asked for the following amenities: an indoor pool, a Japanese Ofuro, a hi-tech private gym, a bar/kitchen, a massage room, 2 changing rooms (complete with showers and a steam bath), a laundry and a bowling alley.
Built in record time
The result was well worth our herculean efforts. We managed to deliver the private spa in less than 8 months. The exchanges of ideas and quotations started in November for the final delivery of the whole project in July the next year.
Indeed, the advantage was that we were in charge of the project key-in-hand: technical studies, sketches, plans, designing and creating fitted furniture, civil works, cladding and joinery, plumbing, electricity, heating, pool installation and of course, the Bowling Alley! In fact, by entrusting us with the whole project from A to Z, the owners made a smart choice. By supervising the project in its whole, the decision-making process was shortened and we didn’t lose time.
